Dance Class Support Superstar

At Le Petit Ballet we are passionate about guiding dancers from preschool and beyond on their dance journey. Our aim is to bring out the best in every child and provide our families with a community where they feel connected and supported.

We are looking for an enthusiastic class support superstar to assist our head teacher with our vibrant Saturday morning dance classes.

This is a wonderful opportunity for someone passionate about a future in dance teaching. Excellent training provided, ideal for a college or uni student seeking casual work during school terms. Applicants should have a dance background, enjoy working with young children, be reliable, committed and local.

In this role your will
  1. Assist Head teacher with studio set up and pack down and any tidy ups in between classes.
  2. Assist Head teacher with welcoming students for their class, as well as class crossovers, ensuring every child feels included.
  3. Help parents/students with Preloved uniform fittings.
  4. Identifying students that need extra support particularly in the Preschool classes and making them feel safe and included.
  5. Being a valued “Class Fairy” and helping students to the bathroom as required.
  6. If children bring anything with them, ensure they are placed in the “Pink box”. Remind students to collect their items when they leave so no precious items are left behind.
  7. Arrive in good time to be ready in a calm and organised manner to offer your best.
  8. Be a vision of the studio by immaculate grooming, proudly wearing the uniform and appropriate dance attire.
  9. Contribute to the studios high retention by supporting new and potential students to feel welcomed and at home from the moment they enter our doors.
  10. Be a part of the community through participating and attending our community events.​
